How I Work

Fees

My fees are £55 per session (Dalkeith) and £60 per session (Edinburgh), payable in full at the end of each session either by card or bank transfer. I have a limited number of concession places available at £40/45 per session, please contact me to discuss your circumstances.

Finding a therapist can feel nerve-wracking and exposing. I offer a free 15 minute telephone call to discuss what has led you to seek counselling, and for you to consider if you would feel comfortable working with me.

Timing

I offer sessions face-to-face or online, depending on what works best for you. Sessions are 50 minutes and will usually be offered on the same day at the same time each week.

Location

I am based at Mysa Therapy Rooms at 6a Newmills Road, Dalkeith, EH22 1DU and at Edinburgh Centre for Psychodynamic Therapy, 86 Causewayside, Edinburgh EH9 1PY. Unfortunately, these rooms are not accessible to those with mobility impairments due to stairs.

Current Availability

As of 30 May 2026. Edinburgh - Mondays at 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Dalkeith or online (all currently available fortnightly) - Tuesday evenings at 6pm, Thursday mornings at 10am and 11am, Saturday mornings at 10.30am and 11.30am.

Cancellations

Counselling sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice will not be charged. Sessions that are missed without notice or are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
